Terms & Conditions
All of us at Getaway Charters are committed to ensure that our Clients enjoy the best that boating in the Solent can offer. We will ensure that our Skipper & crew are the very best and totally competent to make your day safe and enjoyable and that our vessel is properly serviced and prepared for you when you arrive.
Booking your day is easiest via our website. It is up to date so choose your preferred dates.
Our terms require a 50% deposit on booking with the balance, payable 4 weeks before your departure date.
Cancellations after this time will forfeit the deposit. Before this, if you think you may need to revise your dates, we will do all in our power to accommodate your wishes.
If our Skipper decides that conditions on your day are not suitable for your intended itinerary, we will do our best to provide an alternative cruise or re arrange it for another day.
Boats are designed primarily to be safe at sea and may not therefore be conducive to mobility issues that you or your guests may experience on board. If you are unsure of our suitability, please advise us when booking. We may suggest that an exploratory visit beforehand is advisable.
When booking, please advise us if you or your guests have any medical conditions of which we should be aware of.
Children of any ages are most welcome but please be aware that safety must be our first consideration and you will be responsible for carrying out our Crew’s advice for their wellbeing, whilst on board.
Pets and smoking are not permitted on board.
Finally, our Skipper and crew are legally responsible for your safety and that of our vessel. Their decisions and judgement on the day must be respected, and their safety-related advice and directions followed.
